Lessons

Lessons will be given by our coach Jeff Gettys. He loves to teach and see his students and their horses improve their skill sets. And he is equally excited to teach the beginner through the advanced rider. 

 

Beginners are more than welcomed and encouraged to come out and ride. There is no experience necessary! The Western Riding Team welcomes those who have never touched a horse to those who are advanced riders. There is also no need to own your own horse as lesson horses are available for use. However, members are welcome to use their own horses as well. 

 

For those at a more advanced riding level, Jeff Gettys will be teaching advanced riding lessons in Reined Cow Horse and Ranch Versatility. He also has the expertise to help you make your horse more supple, responsive, and ready for any discipline. 

 

Jeff Gettys will be teaching out of Roan Valley Farm in Gettysburg as his primary facility and there are more facilities available to help the team grow. More will be posted on the expanded avenues as details are secured. 

 

The cost of lessons will be: 

$40 for a private hour long lesson

$25 per person for a lesson group of 3 people
