Jeff Gettys specializes in Reined Cow Horse and Ranch Horse lessons, training, and showing. He has shown is American Quarter Horse Association(AQHA) shows, Atlantic Reined Cow Horse Association(ARCHA) shows, American Ranch Horse Association(ARHA) shows, and Northeast Stock Horse Association shows among others. In all of these shows, he has competed at the senior open levels. 

 

In order to hone his riding and horsemanship skills, Jeff has participated as a student and rider in many horsemanship clinics taught by some of the most recognized and legendary horseman in the equine industry. He has studied and completed courses under Les Vogt, Sandy Collier, Tom Curtin and Russel Dilday to name a few (Cornerstone Farm).

 

Jeff has continued working with his horsemanship mentors, Rick Trusty and Mike Feister over the years to further fine-tune his horsemanship skills as a premier horse trainer. While Jeff’s training focus has been rider and horse safety and starting colts, he has looked to his mentors and fellow clinicians for more knowledge about how to get a horse soft and supple and ready to compete at top open levels (Cornerstone Farm).

 

One of Jeff's best qualities is his ability to teach. He loves to watch his students and their horses learn and grow in their skill set. And he enjoys having students of all levels in his riding program!
